In addition to all the standard upgrades we do, we can build any heavy duty upgrade you may require. From light towing, 2,000 pounds or less, to towing 8,000 pounds and up, to RV conversions on standard van platforms, propane or C.N.G. we can build the engine for your needs and insure you get the performance and durability you deserve. performance upgrades
CLASS I: This upgrade is ideally suited for light to medium towing. It is the most reasonably priced and consists of a Class I cam upgrade with matching valve springs. It is computer compatible and emission legal in all 50 states. Prices range from $74 to $129 depending on the application. Engines with this upgrade still have a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty. CLASS II: This upgrade is street performance with a smooth stock idle. It is computer compatible and emission legal in all 50 states. It produces great throttle response with little or no decrease in fuel economy. No deterioration in fuel economy has been reported to us. In addition to a Class II cam upgrade, it also includes roller timing. Prices range from $183 to $219. Please call us more details.
CLASS III: For more serious street performance. Slight lope in idle. In most cases it is computer compatible. Still can be used as a daily driver. We can build these with a 8.2 compression ratio to use 87 octane or 9.0 to use premium fuel, however the 9.0 compression ratio will only give you a 4% gain in horsepower. This upgrade does not require a stall converter. These engines are specially prepared with cam upgrade, springs, roller timing, and H.V. oil pump with H.D. pump shaft in most cases.
