Rebuilt Engines & Cylinder Heads

Are You Afraid To Buy A Rebuilt Engine?

Let's face it, buying a rebuilt engine from an Internet vendor is risky business. Shopping for engines using long-distance phone calls drives a lot of buyers to focus primarily on the price. This is a good way to make a MAJOR mistake when buying rebuilt engines. Or even cylinder heads for that matter. Sure you'll save $$$ by purchasing an engine from XYZ Company, but think about the two most important issue here - quality and service.

You Want Fries With That?®

That famous McDonald's slogan has made them more money by offering the customer one thing - service. And that's what National Cylinder Head is known for - service. Sure, price is important but you're unlikely to receive a QUALITY REBUILT ENGINE when you shop online strictly based on pricing. You would be unpleasantly surprised at the number of engines and cylinder heads that we work on that were purchased from a competitor. When we ask the customers why they bought the engine in the first place it is inevitable that they say - price.

National Remanufactured Cylinder Heads

Remanufactured or repaired cylinder heads. Cylinder heads are one of the many specialties that we handle here at National Cylinder Head Exchange. Remanufactured and repaired cylinder heads keeps a good many vehicles on the road today.

A lot of auto & truck technicians know that not everyone does a good job when they rebuild or repair a cylinder head. Many times shortcuts are taken by the rebuilder to increase their profit margin. Well you have to realize that the profit margin will go up using these techniques but so will the margin for failure go up.

Now National Cylinder Head Exchange has a detailed process that a cylinder head goes through during our remanufacturing process. Quite frankly some cylinder head cores that others will rebuild never make it through our inspection process! It's a shame to have to say this but some cylinder heads are worn out the day they are purchased.

When we remanufacture a cylinder head it is submitted to an extensive cleaning and examination process, a machining and component replacement process, and lastly assembly by qualified technicians. You won't find untrained people working on anything here at National CYlinder Head Exchange. Our technicians are factory trained and the majority of them have been with us 5 or more years. This is important as we train our cylinder head and engine rebuilders in the techniques that we have perfected in the 40 plus years that we have been in the engine and cylinder head business.
